  37.   The problem with the Sportsters, though true, has been fixed some months
  38.   ago. I would, however, agree that the support for Sportsters is less
  39.   than desirable. The Courier support, on the other hand, is excellent.
  40.   Couple that with a superb product and you got a winner.

  42.   Maybe you should try a couple of brands concurrently to find one that 
  43.   best suits your needs. There are a lot of computer stores that have a
  44.   generous 30-day return guarantee.

  46.   I tried several brand names including the Motorola Power 28.8, Sportsters
  47.   Vi and DSVD, Cardinal, Practical Peripherals, and yes, even a Boca, but
  48.   found the Courier to be the best one in both connect and transfer rates
  49.   to my ISP providers. I get 28.8 connect all the time and 3.0k ftps using
  50.   PPP. I was experiencing mostly sub 2.75k ftps with the other modems. As
  51.   usual, your particular situation may differ significantly.
